Tales from Albian - Issue Four

Tales from Albian

Chaos Wizards - Chaotic Demonic Immolation

Welcome one and all, it’s that time again for another instalment from the archives of Tales from Albian, my fantasy world I created for my ‘Horde North of the Wall'. If you are following my blog, you are probably starting to figure out, I am not all there and a little away with the fairies, and you would be right in that assumption. Quite frankly it’s a much better place to be, than knocking around this world having to frantically tap on laptops that don’t work, and discuss the finer points of workplace etiquette with the great unwashed! After all we do take our lives into our own hands through simply walking down our local high street these days, so spending my time thinking about the horrors of a fantasy realm is much safer place to exist.

So, to my next little trip down the rabbit hole takes us to Wizards, and in this instalment, I shall cover mainly the Chaos bunch I have painted to support my army. Already covered in the last few instalments are Festus and Gregor…..Festus loves to reanimate dead things, while Gregor is well known for firing thunderbolts in all directions while going at very high speeds behind a bloody thirsty twisted beast from hell.

Gregor

Well, how can it get any crazier than that I hear you say, and just what I was thinking when I thought up my next concoction, and here he is…….my Chaotic Demonic Immolation, beat that for a hash tag!

Chaotic Demonic Immolation

A mad soul who has decided that the best solution in life is to call up the demonic fires from hell and set himself alight with it, in some vain attempt to cast a firebolt at some shinny Empire Knight no doubt! What I like best about this conversion is the fact that there is a Chaos Familiar close by holding the Sorcerer’s scrolls, I can just imagine the little fella thinking to himself ‘there he goes again, showing off!’.

Thinking back to the creation of this conversion, I seem to remember this is a limited-edition Empire Wizard from a army box, added to a Warhammer spell turned upside down and green stuff added for all the flames. I think even now it’s really unique piece that you will find no where else and with its own hash tag too!

Next up is an assortment of wizards that I use for my chaos army some of which are not strictly wizard models, but I love them all the same.

Bloab is mounted on Rotspawn and provides considerable power with the mounts bilespurter weapon.
