Tales From Albian
Knights - The Derranged
Welcome everyone, I do hope you all had a great week. These back issues of ‘The Tales from Albian’ are drawing to a close, hopefully with a focus on Chaos Chosen for the last episodes. I might aim to break this down into some short stories maybe depending on how it goes down with you all, just drop via ideas and feedback below in the comments.

However, before we reach the finial instalment, I wanted to present a brief overview of the full tournament army above, which is a subset of the Albian Army, and then a closer look at the Chaos Knights unit below, which are in the photo above at the back.

I do hope you like them. Obviously they have a real punch in game and are one of the best standard units going, and you can even upgrade them to Chosen. Other elements of cavalry are some light horse Light Marauder Horse. I actually wasn’t too pleased about these when I painted them and it led to be going on to paint the Medium Horse about 4 years after the first set.

The good thing here with three types of cavalry is actually you can use all of them with regard old 6-8th Warhammer edition rules. Either you can 'up' armour marauders or you can use them to visually represent the different between chaos knights and chosen.
Well that another blog for another week done, short and sweet but I have a feeling that’s the style I will stick too.
For more on something just let me know below!
Cheer for posting, I had no idea until now it was a competitive army, can you use conversions and scratchbuilds in such things?
ReplyDeleteWell within GW Rule Proxy police you have to be only GW scratch built and a very close approximation.
DeleteHowever I don’t much care for them, so I just paint whatever I like now. The warshrine at the back is completely scratch built and the warriors at the front are mainly different manufacturers so just do what you want so long as it’s fun!
Fair enough, my stuff was not tournament legal and it barely follows the then very wishy washy army lists of the day.
DeleteIn fact I don't think they did many if any 3rd edition tournaments?
I do love your stuff though, I really love your little stories, I have a few of my own and will publish one next week hopefully.
Deleteoooh cool
